Exhibition ‘Taste of Tibet’ by Mercy Riiser

The Exhibition Taste of Tibet by Mercy Riiser, a real life photographer, has been happening since Sunday (4/19) at Surya Isle. Mercy photographed all colors and sensations he felt around and during his journeys through the world. This is all about his visit to Tibet in 2007.

Nyna Slate, crew-manager of U2inSL, gave this tip. She is a personal friend of Mercy and didn’t hesitate to tell his name when I asked if she knew any artist who would like to show art in Surya. His photos fascinated me and it is certainly interesting to offer to the residents of Second Life, a chance to visit real life art and photograph exhibitions. “This interaction between avatars and photos from the real world is very interesting and different. I feel like being in a RL exhibition”, Ziad Low, one of the visitors, says.
This was always the goal of Ananda Valeeva, the curator of the exhibition, and owner and Editor-in-Chief of InnerWorld Magazine. It was always a dream to offer a space for art exhibition at the InnerWorld Magazine HQ. Surya Isle was born to be a reference of art and good taste. “”As the proposal of InnerWorld Magazine is bringing art and good taste to readers, my idea for Surya and the mag was to create a place to support art, artists and talented and good hearted people” Ananda says.

Exhibition Flowers by Willum Tosung

The first cultural event in Surya Isle presents the great opening of the Exhibition “Flowers”, a new series of amazing photobook and posters created by the talented photographer Willum Tosung. He dazes all by the absolute dominion of the subtle females shapes, by offering us a saunter through the surreal imaginary of multicolor images. Observe the harmony and perfect symmetry in photos of avatars, which create sensual and poetic mandalas. Opening Cocktail: 12/10

Surya Isle

Surya means “Sun” in Sanskrit and it brings the energy of success, intellect, power, wisdom and light. Qualities Ananda Valeeva always dreamed to offer and share with everybody.

Surya Island was born to be mainly the HQ for the Inner World, Magazine. It is now opened for you to visit and know more about this project, where we make the magazine and offer a website to show the mag in high quality. Surya is a cozy island as we decided to make all in simple and small areas surrounded by the blue ocean.

Besides the HQ, Surya Island has two more wonderful areas: The Zen Lounge where you find a magic forest to relax, meditate, enjoy nice moments with friends and your beloved, surrounded by very special music, gardens and many exclusive poses for you to take your dreamy photos and develop your art and cultural skills. Visit The Surya Beach specially created to make your Second Life full of great moments and take more gorgeous pictures. A turquoise ocean invites you to feel the warm water and the soft white sand is perfect to take a calm walk. Well, maybe you want to relax under a Palm tree or some gorgeous trees at the flowers field.
